Drew is a member of the Lehman Engel/BMI Musical Theatre Workshop and The Dramatists Guild. Book & Lyrics to ONE WAY TICKET TO HELL (Music by Robert Cioffi). He co-produced the West Coast premiere, in association with The Lee Strasberg Center for the Arts/ Marilyn Monroe Theatre which garnered rave reviews and 5 Ovation Award nominations including “Outstanding World Premiere of a New Musical”. The show was also on many “Top Ten for Theatre in LA” lists. “HELL” also played The 12 Miles West Theatre Company (Where it originated), New York City’s famed Cabaret- Don’t Tell Mama’s, and was a part of the inaugural season of The New York Musical Theatre Festival in NYC at The Tank Theatre. The score was featured in concert by The New Jersey Gays Men Chorus, and was chosen for The New Jersey Festival of New Plays. For 5 years he and writing partner Robert Cioffi had their own production company in New York, Dave Gogi Enterprises. He premiered his new musical revue SONGS FROM A GLASS HALF FULL (Lyrics/Direction) (Music by Robert Cioffi) right here in Sharon Springs, New York, Other works include Book & Lyrics for THE PLOUGHMAN’S WIFE (Based on the writings of Robert Burns) (Music by Robert Cioffi) WANDERLUST (Music by Lisa Yves) YOU CAN BE A NEW YORKER TOO! He recently completed his novel(s) with a behind-the-scenes storytelling of 40 years in the professional theatre in New York called “ALL TOURS IN THE GIFT SHOP” and the companion coming of age memoir about his life as a young man growing up in a treacherous, decadent, disco laden NYC of the 1970s called “WHERE THE HUNGRY COME TO FEED.”
