Dinner with the Poets at the American Hotel

Every year, we kick off the Poetry Festival with this special fundraising event, and 2024 is no exception! We’re thrilled to announce that, by special arrangement, the 2024 ‘Dinner with the Poets’ will take place at the historic American Hotel and will be prepared by Chef Anthony Leberto of Brimstone Bakery.

In addition to a special American Hotel dinner, attendees will be able to meet the poets in advance of the public events, and each of the Festival poets — Peter Balakian, Sophie Cabot Black, Maya C. Popa   — will offer a special reading between courses.

  • Cash bar open at 6:00 PM
  • Dinner served at 7:00 PM
  • Ticket price $85.00 per person (includes dinner and gratuity; drinks extra)

Join us on Thursday, October 17, 2024, for “Dinner with the Poets” at the historic American Hotel, the perfect start to this year’s Poetry Festival!
